Creating A Flash Video For Screencast.com
Instructors can create videos with their webcams and provide those videos to students on ScreenCast.com from Tech Smith. For webcam outputs that are .AVI files - these files can be dragged to the Camtasia Studio time line and saved as a .SWF file. I reduce my player window size to decrease my file size. Keeping video files small keeps storage area size down, while providing multimedia to be linked to your course. Once .SWF files are created they can be uploaded to the ScreenCast.com site and viewed by students. ScreenCast.com also allows instructors to make content private and can be used to release class content on a schedule.
