In an Article by Joe Light from the Times : "HTML5", "Mobile App", and "Android" are all among the fastest growing keywords in jobs posted online. This is according to data tracked by the search engine Indeed.com. "Twitter" and "jQuery" were among the five fastest growing keywords.
Secondary Education Instructors need be prepared for students accessing content on phones and tablet's starting now. There are two free tools that instructors can use right now for getting their content on to student's wireless devices. One is Twitter and the second is Blogger.
I use both of these services in training, and the reason is that these presentation layers fit on my Blackberry Bold. If I upload content that will fit on my Blackberry then I have gotten my content out to the majority of student devices. A second major point for me is that using both these tools provides me with content that will work on both desktops and wireless devices. Thia is important since instructors are using desktops or laptops to create content that students will sometimes access on their wireless devices.
